ACCIDENT REPORT 10/27: SUBJECT 004 (Silverblood Opticharges)
Scientists Thea Esther Coeus and Jane Turing were working with Subject 004 and doing electroshock testing in order to charge the subject's Opticharge (in-lab term for a large amount of energy displaced from Subject 004's eyes), but failed to notice a crack in the glass. The pressure on that crack built until Subject 004 was able to shatter the glass. This wounded Turing, but Coeus managed to avoid most of the blast. However, she was killed when Subject 004 activated its Opticharge while looking at Coeus. While a PoW (prisoner of war) was collected to revive Esther Coeus, Turing was unable to stop Subject 004 from rampaging through the facility and almost killing half the crew. Once it was done with its destruction, it managed to escape from the ship in its stasis pod, which it ripped from the ship and sent hurtling toward Earth. Somehow, it managed to crash somewhere along the U.S.-Canada border. Based on where the station was aligned (intentionally so that Turing could make a visit home), we believe that Subject 004 has crashed somewhere in that region. We cannot be sure, however, and we cannot be sure how currently volatile they are.
Subject 004's execution was scheduled for 10/31. Maybe if I was able to postpone my damn hydroponics testing, this wouldn't have happened.
